Lola L. Brewer Scholarship
Program Requirements
- Applicant must be a senior on track to graduate from an accredited CGACS member school during the school year in which the student is applying.
- Applicant must have attended an accredited CGACS member school for a minimum of two academic years.
- Applicant must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher at time of application.
- Applicant must submit a written entry, using APA style, of at least 850 words, but no more than 1000 words, on the following topic: "How will you take what has been instilled in you related to Christian education and apply it to your next level of education?"
- Application and written entry must be submitted to CGACS via US Mail at 3736 Cragmont Drive, Tampa, FL 33619-1384. Entries must be postmarked no later than February 1.
Program Details
- Scholarship award amount is $500.
- Award winner will be notified no later than March 15.
- Presentation of ceremonial check will be awarded in the month of May, preferably at a school-initiated event with CGACS Board Members present
- Funds will be disbursed upon completion of recipient's first semester (minimum of 6 credit hours awarded) at a post-secondary institution.
